Flourished Initials:Blanks left for initials. Guide letters still visible.
Other Names (not owners):On front flyleaf 'Sum liber Johannis Chaunteler de Oxon'. On f34 is 'scdm Ihem Somer' at head of folio and at the bottom, in contemporary numerals is the date 1403. On f39 is 'Anthonius Askam doctor astrologie'. On f48v is 'Thys book made the 27 Iune in forth yeare of the rayne of kyng edward the vith'.
Miscellaneous Info:Astrolabe begins on f13r after the Latin text, and runs to f24v. Begins with '[B]rede & mylk for chyld(ren) lityll lovys my son' Part 2 has tables 'secundum Iohannem Somer'. A contemporary hand has written 'anno Domini 1403'.
