No of Folios:ii + 289 + ii
Pagination:Original foliation in ink of text in top right corner. This has now been superseded by a later pencil foliation which demonstrates by the end of the volume that about fifty folios have been lost.
Quiring:Probably originally 12 but the first quire for example is of 8 with missing folios at the beginning. Other missing folios are noted on occasion.
Signatures:Very occasional marks may be found. On modern f60, old foliation 97, is the mark 'h5' in the bottom right corner.
Catchwords:Some catchwords, but folios are missing and some of the texts do not have them.

Frame:Brown crayon or dry-point. Varies according to text and whether single or double columns.
Writing Space:240 x 127
Incipits and Explicits:Red in Vegetius.
Index:Cursor Mundi is preceded by a Calendarium with folio numbers copied by the scribe.
Marginal Headings:Red headings within the text box in the Vegetius.
Table of Contents:A 17th century hand has copied a list of the contents onto the pastedown of the front board.
Title by Scribe:Title for 'Sege of thebes' in right margin in ink of text and hand of scribe on f227. Title for 'Parlement' on f288r in the right margin is 'Of the assemble of þe byrdis on seint volantins day'.
Illuminated Initials:A 4-line gold initial for Cursor Mundi joined to a gold bar which extends the length of the text and continues as a short extension along both top and bottom of the text block thus acting as a partial border. Red flourishing to decorate.
Paragraph Marks:Blue and red with no flourishing in Cursor Mundi.
Flourished Initials:Blue initials with red flourishing in Cursor Mundi. Space left for initials in Siege of Thebes and Parlement.
Other Names (not owners):On the first folio is 'Liber Guilielmi Laud Archiepi Cantuar et Cancellarij Vniuersitatis Oxon 1633.
