Page Size:385 x 295 mm
Frame:Four verticals creating two text columns, four horizontals enclosing top and bottom lines, ruled within columns, drypoint or silver-grey barely visible; no ruling for marginal glosses or names of speakers, for running titles or for catchwords.
Marginal Headings:Rubric headings and all Latin text, plain rubric initials, initials each line washed with yellow.
Borders:No illustrations.
Other Names (not owners):Formerly John Towneley (d. 1813) [bookplate]; formerly Phillipps 8942; sold to H.S. Nichols & Co. [March 1895. £132]; to Maggs; olim W. T. Smedley [bookplate]. On last paper fly at front, 17th-century, verse owner’s inscription: “Jane Sergeant Heer book God giue | Her grace ther on to Look & when she die | Toll the bell tak this book & vse it well”
