Usage: a
single compartment secretary 'a' used for the lower case letter .
Usage: And
double compartment 'A' used as upper case for beginnings of lines and for new sentences or phrases.
Usage: And
upper case 'A' used at the beginning of a line.
Usage: narraciones
display script 'a' for the Explicit at the end of the Retraction.

Usage: sounden
the scribe uses looped 'd' and double compartment 'g' but aprt from these graphs, the script is basically a secretary script.

the lower lobe is usually pointed at the left side.

Usage: legendis
the scribe appears to have two forms of 'g' each of which he seems to employ exclusively on a single folio. On f359v he only uses this rounder form with long oval lower compartment.

triangular head-loop and limb and tail-stroke looping round clockwise to resolve back to the base of the stem.

most 'h's on f359v are as in this example with shorter tail stroke and a tighter formation.

an example of crossed 'h' from f359v.

long 'r' is frequently used on f229.
Usage: oure
modern 'r' used more frequently on f359v although long 'r' is still in evidence.

'z'-shaped 'r' used on both folios but more in evidence on f359v.

long 'r' with flourish perhaps for a missing final 'e'.

Usage: d(omi)n(u)s
sigma 's' used both initially and finally on f229. No other lower case 's' can be seen. Long 's' is used within words.

this kidney-shaped 's' is used in final positions on f359v. Long 's' is used in initial positions.
Usage: Seyntes
the scribe's upper case letter.
Usage: Rectoris
the display script of the scribe.
 
W
Usage: felows
'w' formed as two 'v's.
Usage: were
looped heads and single lobe to the right.
Usage: wyves
Usage: Who
'W' in upper case position at the beginning of a line. It does not differ from the lower case version.
 
Y
Usage: mannys
the curve of the tail-stroke is wide with a thicker line on the curve as the scribe turns the nib.
Usage: Seyntes
Usage: hevyn
sometimes the tail of 'y' is cut short.
Usage: yeer
 
I
Usage: Iape
upper case 'I' on f229.
Usage: Ihu
upper case 'I' used on f359v. There are differences between the 'I' used on the earlier folios and the 'I' used later.
