'w' is scribed in several ways. Here a small loop at the top of the left arm. This first limb is generally taller than following elements.

a long stem to thorn with lobe set high on the shaft.

Long 's'

the top of long 's' extends almost at right angles above five further letters.

the treatment of the head-stroke of this graph has a real impact on the aspect of the scribe's hand on the folio.
