Usage: was
single compartment 'a' used mostly, but not exclusively within the text.
Usage: And
upper case 'A' used at the beginning of a line. The shape of this letter may vary.
Usage: And
another variation on the upper case letter.
Usage: Arage
the text reads 'this man in suche arage'. The scribe diverges from his usual practice of using single compartment 'a' within the text and joins the indefinite article to the noun.
 
D
Usage: And
final 'd' frequently has a final long descending tag.

looped 'd' used throughout.

this 'd', used at the beginning of the verb 'to devise', may be the scribe's upper case letter used randomly.

the fine hairline stroke from lower to upper lobe occasionally seems to be missing.

the first stroke of the 'w' is usually separate from the remainder of the letter.
