Usage: lady
only double compartment 'a' is used on the recto of the leaf.
Usage: and
secretary 'a' used exclusively on the fragment of the verso of the leaf except for one occurrence of double compartment 'a' in the word 'allas', but this may have been intended as an upper case letter.
Usage: Auenture
although difficult to make out, this upper case 'A' on the recto is another variant for this hand.
