Usage: all
single compartment 'a' is used throughout but the scribe has a number of variants of the graph.

the scribe has a number of upper case graphs for 'A'. This one is the most used on the folios examined.
 
D
Usage: deth
both looped and unlooped 'd' are used.
Usage: and
looped 'd' in final position with tag.
Usage: lady
a version of 'd' which looks to be looped with the loop filled in with ink. The scribe uses this type quite frequently.
Usage: dayis
occasionally the scribe uses what seems to be an upper case graph where one would expect a lower case version. This word occurs on the top line so that might be a reason for an upper case graph in that position. However, he also uses the same graph within a line of verse.
 
G
Usage: god
single compartment 'g' used throughout with very little variation.
Usage: walking
'g' in final position with extension of the horizontal slash.

H
Usage: hert
the stem of 'h' varies in height. The limb is thick and curved with very little tail.

'h' in final position with extremely thick limb-stroke.

R

'z'-shaped 'r' is used throughout in all positions.
Usage: ar

kidney-shaped 's' is used in final position.

a 6-shaped 's' with curving approach stroke is also used in final position occasionally.

W
Usage: with
'w' is always of the same formation. The initial stroke is very thick. There is then a curved second stroke which has a foot at the lower end and a horizontal stroke leading to the final loop.

'w' is usually bigger than surrounding graphs.

upper case 'W' at the beginning of a line.
 
Y
Usage: my
the basic shape of the body of this graph does not vary alot. The tail-stroke varies in legth and curvature.

in this example, the tail of 'y' ascends to join to the following 'n'.

a thick, straight descending stroke for the tail of 'y'.
 
Thorn and Yogh
Usage: þt
thorn is used rarely and usually only for the contraction of 'that' and the definite article.

yogh is also only used occasionally as equivalent to 'y'.

some of the scribe's upper case graphs are quite elaborate.
