first 'h' in the word. The scribe uses mainly this version of 'h' with looped head and straight limb.

'z'-shaped 'r' is used almost exclusively in medial and final position.

long 'r' is used four times on this folio, twice as a double letter, as here, once as in version 3 and once within a word.

upper case 'R' is used where 'r' is the initial letter of a word. An examination of other examples of text by this scribe would be required to see whether this was his normal practice.
 
S
Usage: wyndows
the ink on this folio is very degraded but this kidney-shaped 's' occurs in final position. All final 's's are kidney shaped on this folio.

6-shaped 's' occurs in initial position.
Usage: housed
long 's' used in medial position. The stem of 's' is almost bulbous, tapering at the top. Long 's' is also used in initial position occasionally.

Usage: wondirly
'w' with approach stroke. The right element of 'w' is a single lobe on all occasions.
Usage: with
'w' without approach stroke.
Usage: With
initial 'W' at the beginning of a line with approach stroke. The left limb extends to twice the height of the rest of the graph.
Usage: With
upper case 'W' at the beginning of a line with minimal approach stroke. Both versions 3 and 4 are used randomly.

'y' with short tail.
Usage: gay
the length of the tail of 'y' varies.
