Usage: sauyth
double compartment anglicana 'a' used throughout. The compartments are oval in shape.
Usage: Almighti
upper case 'A' at the beginning of a line.
Usage: That
the scribe's formation of letters sometimes deteriorates towards the bottom of the folio.
Usage: Armure
an upper case letter in the middle of a line.
 
D
Usage: fynde
'd' is looped. The bowl varies in shape.
Usage: child
Usage: dreynt
pointed lower lobe and upper loop flung backwards.
Usage: Doun
upper case 'D' at the beginning of a line with 2-shaped element preceding.
 
G
Usage: god
double compartment 'g' used throughout.
Usage: golias
the head of the upper compartment is sometimes flat with connecting hair-line.
Usage: strengthe
a rather distorted version of 'g'.
Usage: ȝong
'g' in final position with horizontal slash.
 
H
Usage: fletith
the classic shape of lower case 'h' by this scribe with tapering limb stroke.
Usage: hethen
stem of 'h' with arching head-stroke.
Usage: How
'H' at the beginning of a line and presumed to be upper case. The approach stroke to the stem of the graph may be seen clearly.
Usage: wight
horizontal from 'g' leading through to the head of 'h'.
 
R
Usage: styward
long 'r' used in all positions most of the time.
Usage: bord
'z'-shaped 'r' mainly used after 'o', once after 'i' on this folio and occasionally after a consonant.
Usage: verrely
double 'r'.

Usage: ship
sigma 's' only used in initial position.
Usage: shortly
an exaggerated example of version 1, not an upper case letter although exactly the same shape.

kidney 's' only used in final position.

long 's' used in initial and medial positions.

'w' almost always has a curved lead-in stroke.

'y' varies only in the length and curvature of the tail.

the stem of thorn is quite long and tapering. Thorn is used frequently.

yogh is also used frequently.
