No of Folios:3 parchment flyleaves, the first of which has offset of gold polka dots from binding turn-over and all with notes re later owners + 83 parchment leaves original + 3 parchment flyleaves, the last of which has same polka-dot gold offset from turned down edges of a previous cover.
Pagination:Red ink very neat, early? Modern pagination on every page to left of first line; modern pencil foliation in upper outer corners recto.

Signatures:Signatures survive on most leaves that bore them, lower case letters plus roman numerals, eg 'a j' on f1, 'e j' on f33.

Frame:Square to edges in brown lines which look like lead but are quite fine; no ruling within.

third flyleaf at front written by same as first hand of 1783, 'POEMS' written in the Year one thousand four hundred ten' then coat of arms and motto of Chetwode and then 'Newly bound and paged AD MDCCLXXXIII
verso has McClean's book plate.
Miscellaneous Info:f83 had had lower half cut out, but replaced with parchment which is sewn to it, probably at the time of one of the rebindings; bound in paper typed notes of most recent binder 1995.
Further Information:McClean catalogue. Dating, 15th c., probably second half; reference to 1410 will be date of composition by Hoccleve.
