A
Usage: hath
the single compartment 'a's are mainly evenly formed. The scribe's hand is controlled and the graphs well-formed.
Usage: and
a slightly different variant of version 1 with square shape and hairline to close at the head.
Usage: Alas
the upper case graph is noticeably larger than the lower case letters. On this folio there are no double compartment 'a's even as an upper case letter.

D
Usage: tolde
the scribe uses looped 'd' in the text. This is the most usual shape for the looped version.

'd' in final position with tag. The word occurs at the end of a line.

an unlooped 'd' used in the display script of the rubric.

the scribe's tailed 'g's are all formed in exactly the same way. All descenders briefly graze the line.

the scribe uses modern 'r' on almost every occasion in all positions.

the only example of long 'r' on this folio.

kidney-shaped 's' almost always used in final position.

'w' is formed as two 'v's. The graph is looped at the head and has a single lobe to the right.

occasionally, when the scribe has space, the tail of 'y' curls round, but the more usual graph is version 2.
