Signatures:Arabic numerals but mainly lost through cropping.
Catchwords:Remnants of frames in red and brown ink but mainly cropped.

Frame:Frame ruling in dry-point and sometimes in plummet.
Marginal Headings:By the scribe to distinguish the Books and Proems.
Running Titles:'Troilus' on versos and the number of each book on rectos.
Paragraph Marks:Paraphs in red ink precede stanzas.
Other Names (not owners):On f299v and on the verso of the second end flyleaf is the signature of Thomas Browne. On ff 1r, 131r and 193r is the name 'Henrici Spelman (1564?-1641). Later the manuscript belonged to the 'I. Taylor' whose name also appears on f1r. His manuscripts were bequeathed to Anthony Askew and from him went to Richard Gough, Richard Heber and Sir Thomas Phillipps. It was acquired by the Henry E. Huntington in 1923.
