Catchwords:Regular at bottom of last leaf verso each quire, by scribe, one or two words, almost running up to right frame line near lower edge of page, brown box or crude scroll around.

Frame:2 x vertical, 4 x horizontal enclosing top and bottom lines; ruled within, brown crayon or plummet.

Marginal Headings:Rubric by scribe in display script. Latin and French words/phrases/lines in rubric, as well as many proper names, occasionally boxed.
Borders:On f1, bar border in blue, green and red.
Paragraph Marks:Many paraphs alternating blue and red up to f3v, thereafter keys for them but not done in colour; some black paraphs added later.
Flourished Initials:On f1, 6-line blue and red initial with bar border in blue, green and red; thereafter large (6-7 line) red lombard initials, plain; rubric for large and more formal display hand for headings and Latin quotations and names, etc.
Other Names (not owners):On f90v, many scribbles in 15-16th cc hands, including a note on Langland's parentage.
