Usage: company
lower case 'a'. Double compartment 'a' also used.
Usage: A
the indefinite article using two compartment 'a' in the middle of a line.
Usage: And
upper case 'A' at the beginning of a line.
Usage: And
upper case 'A' in yet another style at the beginning of a line.
 
D
Usage: duelled
'd' in final position.
Usage: duelled
'd' used in initial position.
    
 
G
Usage: golde
tailed secretary 'g' used throughout. The horizontal head-stroke connects with the following graph.
Usage: herberage
the tail of 'g' is short and curves slightly.
Usage: wyght
'gh' combination.
  
 
H
Usage: hewe
'h' is tilted slightly to the right. The head-stroke is triangular, the limb is a thick stroke.

the head-stroke may be looped or open as here.

distinctive modern 'r' with sloping stem.

on the top line of a stanza therefore an even more exaggerated left limb.

'y' has a straight tail-stroke which leaves the fork at a forty-five degree angle.
